OTRC.com – Chris Tucker‘s ongoing tax problems have reached epic proportions as documents filed with the L.A. County Recorder’s office on Tuesday show the actor owes the IRS more than $11 million in back taxes.
The years in question are 2001, 2002 and 2004 through 2006. Tucker, best known for his role as detective James Carter in the Rush Hour franchise opposite Jackie Chan, owes over $4 million for 2001 alone. The actor has not commented.
This isn’t the first time Tucker has had issues with paying taxes. California also filed a tax lien on June 24 against the star for over $3.5 million dollars for four years worth of unpaid taxes.
I feel for this guy. I mean, you know how I feel about dolling out unncessary funds and getting ass raped by the goverment in terms of taxes. I mean, Chris Tucker is a hard working actor. You think he wants to take a good chunk of his hard-earned cash from Rush Hour and just GIVE it to the IRS? He had to do stunts oppostite Jackie Chan for Christ’s sake. That is no easy task. The IRS should actually be paying HIM for doing the work that so few men and women are willing to do. Fuck teachers (sorry sisterM) but this man is teaching the children of America the way of the future!
So IRS: cut the shit and let him keep his 11 million. Unless one of your cube monkeys over there want to step up and learn how to round house kick a man in the face without ripping your pants. Yeah, that’s what I thought.
